How consent works

Necessary cookies are set as soon as you load the page, without them the site can't function. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default. We don't set them until you choose "Accept all" in the banner or toggle them on above and click Save preferences.

Where your choice is stored

Your preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage underbeast.cookie-consent.v1. We also log a consent record (timestamp, random consent id, your choices, anonymised IP hash) on our servers as proof of consent, as required by the GDPR. The record is never linked back to your identity unless you're logged in to the Beast Rent app.

Changing your mind

Use the preferences card above any time. Withdrawal is instant, we clear any opt-in cookies the next time you reload the page. You can also delete thebeast.cookie-consent.v1 entry from your browser's storage to reset.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your consent records. Write to dpo@beast.rent with the consent id shown in your saved preferences (visible in your browser's localStorage) and we'll respond within 30 days.
